The programming for this residential design started in response to the steep topography of the site. A sweeping roof form unites the new addition to this once single storey cottage and the varied levels within the final home. The sweep channels air through the length of the building while directing soft natural light from front to back. Highlight windows and louvres diffuse the boundary between ceiling and external soffit while internal gardens seen throughout, a green roof and seamless terraced deck platform connects life in the home to the outdoors. Built by our construction team at Design Tribe Projects, this home reflects the success of a close working relationship between designer, builder and client.

Environmental Features

  • Cross ventilation paths through the home.
