This young family with a parent working from home needed more space in their existing house. They wanted to restore some of the heritage detailing in the home but also create an easy open plan living arrangement with seamless indoor and outdoor spaces. As experts in Heritage restoration our team embarked on restoring the stained glass and brickwork at the front of the property while redesigning the rear of the house with a better kitchen, deck and pool. We used skylights to cover the deck off the primary living space for weather protection while uniting the landscaping through a paved area between pool, deck and studio. The studio was designed to provide additional guest accommodation with kitchenette and living spaces.
